Spectacular! While the whole dinosaurs-and-aliens idea is probably hit-or-miss for me, the artwork and design speaks for itself in establishing the sheer dynamism and badassery of this prehistoric world. I haven't read the entire comic yet, but when I get my hands on the book, I will finish it and eagerly await more.

so THATS what the original title of the movie is. It was released here three weeks ago as Dinosaur vs Dinosaur. I haven't seen it because in the posters there was no info about which theater was playing it.

Hmm wait for the DVD maybe. Looks cool in the trailer on youtube

What I want to know is... how did those dinos get the bone armour on? Their arms are too short to do it themselves!

I do love the tribal face paint. This whole page is cool!

Thanks.

Good qusetion.

It was a vexing issue when I set out to design the dinosaurs.
One plausible way is to get the smaller dinosaurs ( Avialae and Troodontidae ) with some help of insects of the time - chiefly ants and other social insects to function as the dressers.

It can involve some kind of primitive barter system like food and/or protection for such services or training/coaxing in case of insects. The 1st OGN didn't quite get into such details but I had plans to incorporate some hints elsewhere in the 1st book but didn't quite get qround to finishing it..:/

This is ofcourse fiction so take it with a pinch of salt. I wanted to try and make as plausible as I could without being too academic.

I hope that makes sense.

I wasn't expecting such a detailed explanation! Especially since I was making a joke =P Then again, you might get some geek whining 'That's not possible, nyeh nyeh etc.'

Seriously though, thanks for taking the time to type such a detailed reply. Makes me all that more interested in your work :)
